For our final project we are tasked to create a video of our choosing and assign roles to our team to effectively work as a production team.
Here is the plan:
Writer/Producer: Jared Katsoupis
Videographer: MaryKate Hutchinson
Editor: James Lambert
Radio Show
Topic: Our group plans to produce a 5-7 minute video detailing everything that goes into getting involved in broadcast journalism in the field of mass communication at Loyola University. The intended audience will be students at Loyola who want to take part or learn more about radio shows on campus
Treatment: Our video will follow James Lambert, host of Lambert Nation, on Crescent City Radio at Loyola University showing the before, during, and after that goes into broadcasting and radio shows on campus and what it takes to get your own show. We will use live dialogue and interviews.
Model: The video will combine the visual aspects of this college “behind the scenes” video of a DJ here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q0Lj1rzRYag, on YouTube and the information and cut scenes provided in this “day in the life” radio montage here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=un6jYQ0PM50&feature=related.
Here is a video I edited over a 60 second span. It shows mimes, people jumping, and making faces in slow motion!

This Nissan event was actually something that the Loyola Ad Team, which I was a part of this year, put on to gain insight to what young consumers thought of when they thought about Nissan. This event turned out to be a huge success with tons of pictures, vidoes and interviews. Below I have a short image presentation of the event. Definitely check it out!
The goal for this assignment was to think of something that was meaningful to you and represent it in the form of three pictures in a structure that we liked. These are called “Triptychs” and they form (but not always) a beginning, middle, and end. See if you can figure out what mine represent!
(hint: it has to do with Ad Team)
Here are 3 pictures of me playing a shootout game of golf with some old friends…
Ok, I photoshopped myself in. But not bad for my first attempt. And I really can golf, just maybe not like these guys.. one day.
